Taisho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (President: Akira Uehara) announced the launch of "Lipovitan Gold II", a small, tonic and nutrient drink combining 13 active ingredients. The new drink will go on sale April 28.
Lipovitan Gold II contains 1,500mg of taurine, five types of herbal medicine such as royal jelly and ginseng, as well as carnitine chloride and B-complex vitamins among its blend of 13 active ingredients, increasing its effectiveness as an invigorator and nutritional supplement. Along with the same pleasant, easy-to-drink flavor of the "Lipovitan" series, the rich taste provided by the various herbal ingredients enhances the sensation of effectiveness.
The Lipovitan brand has been accepted by consumers since the launch of "Lipovitan D" in 1962. Lipovitan Gold II is the ninth tonic and nutrient drink in the series, which along with six non-medicinal offerings makes for a total of 15 products in the brand lineup. Taisho will continue to aggressively develop and market products that address the needs of consumers.
