Taisho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (President: Akira Uehara) will release ZENA F0-II, a quasi-drug mini-drink whose primary ingredients are tonic herbs, on October 30. It will be available at convenience stores, supermarkets and other shops.
ZENA F0-II is a very nutritional tonic (quasi-drug mini-drink) containing nine tonic herbs (pre-processed amount: 2,420 mg), such as Cistanche, a tonic herb that grows naturally in deserts, Muira Puama, a Brazilian tonic herb, wolfberry and royal jelly. There are also five other active ingredients, including taurine and vitamins. It is an effective nutritional supplement when feeling worn out, or suffering or recovering from illness (such as a cold).
ZENA F0-II is the second quasi-drug product in the ZENA series, and an improved version of ZENA F0-I, which was released last October as the first quasi-drug product in this series.
As people get busier during the year-end and new-year seasons, they can easily become run-down. As such, the demand for mini-drink products is highest in December. We are releasing this product now so that people who use ZENA will have more choices, and so we can attract new customers during the season of highest demand.
