Taisho Supports Japan National Rugby Football Team by Becoming Official Sponsor
Taisho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (President: Akira Uehara) has announced that it will support the Japan National Rugby Football Team by serving as an official sponsor for the two years and six months from September 2001 to February 2004.
Taisho launched its core product, Lipovitan D energy drink, in March 1962, and this year marks the product's 40th anniversary. Through TV commercials and other media, Taisho has promoted Lipovitan D with the message "Exertion, Bonds of Friendship, Victory." This message harmonizes well with the lofty spirit of the rugby call "One for All, and All for One."
In addition, Taisho adheres to the corporate mission of "contribute to the enrichment of people's lives by improving their health."
