Product Release: ZENA Ginger, a New Look for the ZENA Line
Taisho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (President: Akira Uehara) introduces a new product to the ZENA series of medical drinks. ZENA Ginger (50ml, 1,000 yen), a cold remedy product, will be available in stores on August 11.
ZENA Ginger contains carefully selected herbal ingredients and provides nutrients to combat colds and illnesses that bring fever. A total of 14 herbal extracts make up ZENA Ginger, including ginger, which promotes perspiration, and glycyrrhiza, which serves as an anti-inflammatory. We have made this nutritional supplement caffeine-free for our customers who are concerned about caffeine consumption.
The ZENA product line stems from a number of different concepts. Following the releases of ZENA F-II (1,000 yen) and F-III (3,000 yen), in December 1992, we experimented with a host of composites in search of products to meet the needs of our customers.
The ZENA Ginger cold remedy is the ninth member of the ZENA lineup.
