Approximately doubling the number of Taisho's medical representatives to over 950, the new company is well positioned to deliver detailed services to medical practitioners, pharmacists, and medical institutions throughout Japan.
Maximizing the strengths of each partner in the joint-venture subsidiary, Taisho Toyama Pharmaceutical delivers the latest information on prescription drugs to the health-care industry frontline. In addition, with direct access to the marketplace, the joint venture will serve as a focal point and conduit, collecting information on clinical testing, the concerns and the needs of the market, and feeding this information back to Taisho's research and development departments.
